Worst Service from JRS Contractors/ Jackie Salas

*Note: JRS Contractor has a new name and sulit.com.ph site: FurnitureFairStation

Let me share this unfortunate scenario involving us and a company who sells furnitures over Multiply and Sulit.com.ph:

We ordered a bed frame, nightstand and 2 seater dining set from JRS Contractors. We chose from the designs they posted in their multiply site: particularly the Gumila bed, Bexhill dining set and 1 nightstand which came with the Gumila bed. We went to their Mandaluyong office to pay 50% deposit for our order.

Upon ordering, we were assisted by one of their staff and we selected our orders in their office computer. We were advised by Jackie Salas of JRS Contractors (same as JRS Furnitures) that an order will take around a week to finish. She also told us that the furnitures we ordered were "ready made" contrary to what we thought as "made to order." Thus, it is just safe to assume that our orders will be delivered faster than expected of a "made to order" or custom made furniture.

We paid and placed our orders on March 24, 2010. Since we were not really in a hurry back then, we did not call Jackie to follow up our order. We even waited until after Holy Week before we called up Jackie again.

April 5, 2010:

I called Jackie to check the status of our delivery and reminded her that it's been more than a week since we ordered. Nobody from JRS Contractors contacted us to advise us the status of our order. Jackie told us that she will check the status of the order and will advise us by Thursday.

Thursday seems to be a long time for an order which supposed to be delivered more than a week ago (if we follow the one week delivery after ordering). Also, the unit where the furnitures will be delivered will be occupied this week. I told Jackie if she can have the furnitures delivered on Thursday since it's been too long already.

April 6, 2010:

I called Jackie again and this time she said she will have our orders delivered on Thursday although it will be around 7pm - 9pm. Since we really need the furnitures and have the unit settled before occupancy, I agreed on the late delivery.

April 7, 2010:

I confirmed Jackie of the delivery for next day. She said it is confirmed and even advised me that only cash is accepted upon delivery---which is just OK with us.

April 8, 2010, morning:

Once again, I confirmed of the delivery for that night. Jackie confirmed that the items will be delivered that night.

Just to give a background for readers to understand our plight: The unit will be delivered to my sister-in-law's unit in Mandaluyong. We were just asked to have the unit ready in time for their arrival from the US. We do not live in the same unit but we live all the way in Marikina. I just went to Mandaluyong just to wait for the delivery, as Jackie Salas promised.

April 8, 2010, around 5pm in the afternoon:

Here's when the series of problems with JRS Contractor began: I received a SMS from Jackie that they won't be able to deliver our order since "gagabihin na yung mga magdedeliver"

Imagine my dismay that I went all the way there just for nothing! And to think that this Jackie Salas just confirmed the delivery earlier that morning!

I replied to her message saying that I am willing to wait no matter how late it would take for her men to deliver my order. As if the "7pm to 9pm" delivery time she gave me was not late enough.

She replied that "kahit anong pilit ko po hindi po talaga ayaw po pumayag magdeliver."

No doubt we were disappointed but since we cannot really do anything and we were in Mandaluyong anyway, we told her that she better deliver the next day, by 10AM or else we will ask for a refund. She said they will deliver at 10am, even saying na "kami ang uunahing delivery."

April 9, 2010: around 9am

I called Jackie to check if they will deliver. She said to wait since "nagpapalit lang ng gulong yung delivery truck."

10am till 11am passed and still no delivery---not even a text to explain or apologize for the late delivery once again.

11am:

I called Jackie and demanded why the delivery isn't there yet. She replied, "malapit na po."

To make the already long story short, the delivery was made around 3pm. But the problem did not end with the late delivery.

Imagine our horror to see the furnitures delivered were completely different from the ones we ordered! They delivered a coffee table instead of a dining set and a completely different model of bedframe and nightstand!

Just to show you how inefficient JRS Contractor is, here is the photo of the bedframe model we ordered from their site:

Upon delivery, we got this instead:

We did not accept the coffee table since it was not what we wanted. We decided to accept the nightstand and bed frame to cover the cost of the 50% deposit we gave. We'd rather have a totally different bed frame than have nothing at all. Besides, we don't want to go through the hassle of dealing with Jackie Salas again.

So for those interested with getting or dealing with JRS Contractors, particularly with Jackie Salas, let me share this important things. I'm sure you would want to deal with other companies.

  1. Jackie Salas does not keep track of her customers' orders. I called her up and she sounds as if she had no idea what our orders were. True enough, this kind for work attitude reflected in the delivery of wrong items.
  2. Jackie Salas does not reply or even advise her customers of the status of delivery/orders. Imagine how much cellphone credits I used on her since she does not text or call. There were times when she would not answer our text and calls. How's that for work ethics?
  3. Jackie Salas & JRS Contractors are not the direct supplier of the furnitures shown in their website. Furthermore, most of the pictures in their site are not really existing models, at least non-existent in their supplier's stocks. (This explains why the delivery men were puzzled when we showed them the picture of our actual order & told us that they never had that design in their store.)
  4. Jackie Salas & JRS Contractors deceive their possible customers by posting products not available in their supplier's stocks yet they accept orders for it. Of course, you have the option of returning the wrong delivery and opt for a refund. But check the feedbacks of past JRS Contractor clients here and you would see that getting a refund from Jackie Salas/ JRS Contractors is another pain in the ass.

NEVER DEAL WITH JACKIE SALAS or JRS CONTRACTORS! If they ever change company name (after all the negative feedbacks), take note of the name JACKIE SALAS and beware!

Stay away from these sites if you don't want any hassles and problems with your transactions:

nakakahiya naman ng mga yan.. good thing you posted this.. i was about to give them a call and have my house repainted and estimated for blinds.. Tsk tsk! please if you have time.. try to post more warnings on their ads, to save the others from these unprofessional individuals.

Hi there. I already posted my feedback in their websites to warn others. There's no way that this Jackie Salas should run a business. Buti hindi ka nabiktima

Anonymous said...

planning to contact them too. good thing i read this. thanks a bunch for the warning.

Same experience for me. THe worst thing is, they deliver the ugliest furniture you can even imagine.

Sinasayang nila oras ko at pera at panahon. THey are waste of time.

THey promised to replaced so many times. WE even waited the whole night without any txt. And hes all the reason. After 2 weeks, dedeliver again and then cancelled again and now telling us that we have to change we have to pay more.

What a scam!

I think they deliver the furnitures very late and so you will end up accepting whatever are in their delivery truck because you have no other choice. The funny thing was, they also have a coffee table in their delivery truck that I did not order and said if I want to have it as well.

I accepted all the stuffs they delivered but only realized that I will just have to replace it again because they are not just ugly, they dont match at all.

Kakagigil talaga siya. I have their receipt and will forward it to BIR and see if they even pay tax.

I think they should be banned from any online advertisement.

Tin said...

What we can do is to deter possible customers by posting our horrible experiences with them on their website.

The sad thing is you are forced to accept the furnitures to cover the amount you already deposited. I heard pahirapan to ask for a refund (or I heard no one ever got a refund from them) so it's better to have those fugly furnitures than to have nothing at all.

We all have in common, NABIKTIMA ng JRS contractors- We all have the right to ask for refund at all cost, my basis DTI consumer act. All of the products that you had purchased must be returned and be refunded.

YOUR GROUNDS:

2. your ORDER : pic1
delivered: none from the pics

3. issued delivery date: (april 2)
delivered : april 22

I agree with what has been posted here so far. Stay away from this company. They have given us nothing but headaches since we employed their services for minor house repairs last May. We were not satisfied with their work, they were always coming up with lame excuses for their shoddy work, they said one thing in their contract but never delivered satisfactorily, we caught them lying to us several times, and they went waaay beyond the estimated completion date. Over the phone, they said a check was okay. Pagdating dito, cash daw kailangan.

Tinipid ang pagpintura sa exterior ceiling namin. Apparently, they only painted a thin layer. Ang daming natirang paint that they left to dry. After a month, when it became obvious that the paint was thin and we asked them to fix certain areas, they refused to shoulder paint costs. Their 3-month guarantee daw was only for labor. Jackie Salas wanted us to shoulder the cost for paint when this was supposed to be a poorly completed job in the first place.

Even their work on our bathroom, the quote they gave apparently was just to change the tiles on only one wall of the bathroom. This was never explained to us. We assumed that since their job is to make things look better, they would fix the tiles to make it look better. We ended up shelling extra for the tiles!

Even with our kitchen counter, they took out the tiles on the counter and the backsplash. When they replaced the counter with the granite we requested, they did not replace the tiles on the backsplash. That wasn't part of the agreement daw. They never clarified these to us when they presented the quote -- that the job would not include replacing the tiles in the backsplash. We assumed that they shared our desire to make our kitchen look good. In effect, they stripped the wall of tiles, thereby exposing the wood to oil splatters. It was only because we put our foot down that they finally installed tiles to protect the wooden wall.

I truly regret ever getting the services of these people. They do not care for the satisfaction of their customers or for making your house look good. We paid hard-earned money for repairs, and we were short-changed. I have never wished ill on people, but I hope JRS gets what is due them.

This was my post sa multiply and sulit nila, but they deleted it. Plus i read of a negative feedback before me, guess what, deleted din.

Dear JRS / Jackie,

All these are unnecessary if only you had good customer service and made sure you delivered goods properly.

My inquiry was simple. It was just a question of " i think you sent the wrong item, bec mine is laminated finish and the bed you delivered is just varnish finished".

Instead of investigating, you immediately replied " pareho lang po yun." Im not stupid. Varnish is different from PVC laminated formica. Then you kept on saying that the laminate was just to copy the color. I was there Jackie personally at your office. It wasnt that case. You may twist the truth for all i care. But it states in the invoice " LAMINATED", please READ the invoice first before you say it upfront na tama kayo.

Then as usual, like your other explanations sa ibang negatie feedback online ( please google, you have tons!) you say its on sale. "SALE" doesnt give you the leverage to deceive your customers of quality. You mean to say, when we go to SM during SALE, its okay for them to deprive their customers of quality products bec " sale na po yun". During our discussion, it wasnt that way. You guys told me its Blims quality.

Anyway, you will most probably delete this, the same way you deleted the other negative feedbacks. But i do hope someday you realize that in order for a business to succeed long term, you have to take good care of your customers. Its not a one-shot deal, pag ayaw, eh di good-bye, may iba namang customers.

Well, good luck but definitely, im not gonna buy from you again. ever.

THEY ARE NOT BUSINESS PEOPLE. SAKIT LANG SA ULO and SAYANG ANG PERA.

another nega feedback before they erase it again :

"I ordered a Japanese Style Platform bed using GEMELINA WOOD from JRS. They charged me 8K including 500 delivery fee. They said they would still come from Bulacan thats why they were charging that amount. Trinoma only charges PhP280 to deliver to my place in QC. Anyway, my troubles began last THURSDAY--June 24,2010. NIKA from JRS texted to say that the BED which she said will be READY by JUNE 25, Friday is not going to be delivered as scheduled. WHY? The vehicle has to be repaired, she said. OK, I understood that. Next, she texted that the BED I ordered would be delivered on JUNE 27, SUNDAY--not sure about the time bec they have 4 items to deliver and these are for TAYTAY. and PARANAQUE, she said. I said, what time must I wait for the bed? She said NOT SURE. I waited from 8am to about 8:30pm. I texted her twice and called her to ask if the drivers can at least inform me what time they think they can deliver to QC. Again, she texted back but this time, she said, the delivery will go to PARANAQUE first before my palce in Kamias since I only ordered one item. The people in Paranaque ordered more than one item. But I said, wouldnt it be more logical to leave my stuff first at Kamias before proceeding to P'que bec that will at least lessen their LOAD? NO, she said. OK, next, I followed up with a question about teh RECIEPT. Can they bring their reciept with them? Nika texted that bec the delivery truck was in a rush, they forgot to bring the delivery reciept. THIS WAS PUZZLING TO ME. Delivery Reciepts are usually in the delivery vehicles so that deliveries made are tracked. Then the PICK UP ( not a truck, as I had imagined ) arrived at 8:30pm. I was surprised to see a PINEWOOD BED FRAME on the truck. The GEMELINA ( higher priced bed ) was not there. The delivery boys were surprised that I was looking for a GEMELINA> I immediately called NIKA and she said casually--that the Pinewood and Gemelina were teh same anyway. OF COURSE NOT. I remember that she charged PhP6,800 for the PINEWOOD. I asked her why I was not told about teh change of wood. She put off the cellphone then. I texted her that I will pay the PINEWOOD rates plus the delivery fee. She didnt reply. I learned also from the delivery boys that they are just AGENTS--not really OWNERS of the CARPENTRY SHOP that makes the BED COPIES. I was defientely stressed from the sitaution. I do not recommend that CUSTOMERS TRUST this JRS CONTRACTORS--they really do not care for their clients. JRS ONLY WANTS the MONEY of PEOPLE."

Thank you for sharing your woes from your transactions with JRS Contractors. Unfortunately, they are still and business and are luring customers.

I invite those who were scammed by this company to make a formal complaint to DTI. Have pictures of the items wrongly delivered, the picture of the item you wanted and save all receipts and transcripts of messages!

hi mam,

i had the same problem like you. So i went to their office in shaw blvd, cityland bldg to check out their "showroom" and office.

To my surprise, it was just a small crampy office and they have absolutely no sample whatsoever of their products.

So i asked ms jackie, do you have a sample that you can show me in terms of quality and finish? she just showed me her table!!!

Her table was made of pine wood and laminated, the one you see in blims and sm. So i said ah, just make sure your quality is like that ha.

And so i placed an order and guess what, mine was not only the wrong size but also its a super far cry from her table plus yung final product na deliver niya was unfinished.

Mind you, when i pushed the table, you can hear cracking sound na.

DONT BOTHER TO DEAL WITH THEM

I hate shoddy sales people and bad company service on any level! Good for you getting the word out. The laws that govern this should be better upheld and bad companies shut down, I know this would be a large undertaking but if someone from our governments was to go through this you can be guaranteed they would no longer exist how about for the little guy!

Thanks for your warning because I was about to call them tomorrow. I experienced almost the same service (late delivery)from Pinoy Cargo company despite of their confirmation before their promise date. It was really annoying. Im just hoping that there is a government agencies whom we can ran to just to deal with this kind of services. Im not sure if DTI can deal with this.

Thanks for posting this! I was so tempted to order from them seeing as they had the matroshka set (http://www.matroshka.se/) that I've been eyeing since last year. I was curious as to how they were able to bring it in, or copy it, since it wasn't even in production yet in, and they were using the original pics from the developer's site. Lucky I made a goggle check and stumbled on your blog!

I've just finished talking to Jackie regarding some furniture I'm interested in. Cheap prices for really nice-looking furniture. Good thing I saw your post as I was ready to buy several of their stuff plus have them build a couple of closets for my unit. Again, thank you for this post.

By the way, could anyone refer me to a trust-worthy and reliable cabinet-maker/carpenter? And any tips on where to have a bed frame made?

Thanks Heavens!!!! SInce last year i have been eueing this JRS CONTRACTORS on the net, I even bookmarked their site.

I had been planning late last year for a new bed for my neice who will be coming with me to study here, I even plan to buy a new bedframe for myself and replace what we already have, becaouse the pics on their site are just too nice and elegant!

Good thing, when my neice arrived, she insisted to keep the old bed that I have from the other room, because of the size as it won't occupy too much space of her room. If not for her insistence, am sure I am one of you and those people who were victimized by these "MANLOLOKO".

Although the plans of buying furniture from them didn't pushed thru, I can just understand how irritating and a pain in the ass these JRS CONTRACTORS are!

I even planned to hire them to dress up my new unit by November this year, just in time when the turn over for the condo is completed.

My goodness! Thank you very much to all who have posted here, and thank you God I came across accidentally on this thread.

You have saved me greatly!

In fairness to JRSContractors. Maayos ang kanilang pagkakagawa sa house namin. We'd been a victim of Undoy and JRS Contractors is the one who helped us to reconstruct our house. Even though I read some of the comments but I got confidence with them and tried them. And I told them about this news and I told them about my dillema of getting their service. They were nice to talk and immediately gave me quotation. and I was surprise with their quotation talagang napakababa compared don sa mga previous contractors na nagquote sakin. My sister is the one who supervised their job. Maganda yung pagkakaducco ng mga cabinet namin. I do really recommend them. Marami ng sinasabi to get more discount at mananakot na maninira pa. They admit during the first year of their operation talagang hirap pa siya, because she really doesnt know yet how to manage customers. and she also admitted that she started from scratch. Despite the hardship at paninira ng iba, JRSContractors is getting bigger. They have their own shop at Kingspoint going to Novaliches. At last magkakaron narin sila ng shawroom. You can go there and ask JRSContractors shop.I understand their side because I was also in the furniture business before. Talagang mahirap iplease yung customer. Madalas sating mga kababayan, maraming matapobre (sorry to say this). JRs Contractors is a Christian company, jrs stands for Jesus Real Saviour. They have bible study every Saturday in their office from 6-7pm. Do you know that Ms. Salas is a single mother (hindi siya nahiyang sinabi to sakin according to her she also broadcasted it when she was invited to a radio-tv program sa Sikap Pinoy) which according to her when she started JRS Contractors she just rent a computer into internet shop just to do her business on-line. Had no capital to start her business. She's only capital was her faith in God and courage. She really didn't know at first how to start this business. Delivery is the big problem, because at that time she has no delivery track yet, no trusted workers too. Everything was all by herself. She also told me about her experience. Sumama pa siya sa delivery kahit Noche Buena na kasama nya yung bunso nyang anak na nagdeliver just to serve the clients. I have capital and I couldn't hold the business because it's really hard sa Pinas to do business. How much more to her that no single capital? Right now JRS Contractors is getting bigger. They have two (2) units condo at Cityland Shaw Tower. They also have more trusted workers, Engineer, Interior Designer, Architect, sales personnel, and others. Now from no computer into 7 computers at my laptop pa. Can you imagine that? Now they have their shop and showroom to Kingspoint Novaliches. Wow! Can you imagine that!I do really admired her how she started her business. I shared this to all because of my sympathy to Ms. Salas and to all workers of JRS Contractors. Maraming trabahador na umaasa sa JRSContractors. Which means marami itong mga kababayan natin na natutulungan makapagtrabaho. And this also will serve as inspiration to all my kababayan, wag mawalan ng pag asa sa buhay. If she can do it, you can do it also. Actually I'm planning to do a blog of her life story. I do really impressed her. Her faith in God is really great. I really admired her. Will give you more feedback on my blog soon!

I called today to ask for a quotation on an 8 seater dining table, Virlie the girl who I spoke to quoted 21,000 to me. I requested for her to quote me a similar design but if it can be less than 21k. She sent me a picture of an 8 seater european design walnut finished dining table that she quoted for 18k. I closed the deal and asked her to send me an invoice. When I called her again to confirm what I expect to see in the invoice she now said that the 18k is only for a natural finished wood and that if I wanted Walnut I will have to add 7k. I told her that she has to be kidding and she can forget it! What a liar! And the way they use their faith/religion in their business is A NEW LEVEL OF LOW!!!! I think the one who's been leaving a positive feedback here is the owner herself. What a pathetic loser!

Hi. I'm Jackie Salas. I'm the owner of this company. Why I should post a positive feedback for myself. You know ang hirap sating mga Filipino mahilig tayong manira. Why not try to put yourself in our shoes? Kaya nga tinatawagan namin at iniinform.

May I remind everyone, JRSContractors is working within the budget of every client. Please don't dare to dishonor my faith/religion here. I respect you as a Christian, kindly respect me too.THOSE WHO HAS COMPLAINS WHY NOT GO DIRECTLY TO DTI. IF YOU CAN PROVE YOU'RE RIGHT WHY NOT GO THERE. WHY HIDING YOURSELF HERE?

Anonymous said...

Thanks everyone who posted their feedback and complaints. It helps prospective buyers make decisions. Thanks!!

Same story here. I was very very disappointed and angry at the item i received, and the process of getting that item. Up until now, I feel disgusted seeing the table i ordered.

My partner and I bought a dining table in natural wood finish. But just like many of you here, we got something so different from the picture, so compromised of quality... simply something most people wouldn't dare to buy because of it's sheer ugliness.

I asked her staff, "is this the last price". They said "yes, last price na po". I said "ok". I have a business too, so I completely understand that when they say it is the lowest price that they could give, then that's it. Hindi na kami nag-haggle pa. I paid half for the deposit and waited patiently.

Like others too, the item was not delivered on time as Ms. Jackie said it would. But we understood... they were new in the business. All i cared for was the quality. For as long i could get the item EXACTLY like it was posted, then who cares if it's late.

Item came and I just felt so deceived, that i thought of rejecting it. I was staring at the table and was just cursing in my head. I was planning an important room in our office, but when the table came, I just felt my plan was completely ruined.

But we didn't return the item anymore. We waited long enough already. If it weren't for my partner, I would have returned the table to their office and ask for a replacement. But my partner was forgiving. He told me we'd just buy a new item and replace it next time.

For sure, we'd never buy from JRS again, and would not recommend it to anyone we know.

But what I want Ms.Jackie to understand is that WE WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY TOO. Araw-araw, mahirap din ang pinagdadaanan namin just to be able to afford furniture and other equipment at our home and office. That's why we really try our best to find decent looking items before we purchase them with our hard-earned money.

And that's also why we came to you Ms.Jackie. Because we thought we found a great looking item for a really good price. But unfortunately, we were wrong.

If JRS could not provide good quality for a low price, then why not price it higher?

But please JRS, don't put beautiful looking pictures in your site then create and give customers something totally different! Don't even insist that it's the same thing! It is just utter deception!

Lastly, why didn't we complain to DTI as Ms.Jackie suggested? Actually that's a great suggestion because I have the item, the invoice and the picture to prove that JRS was falsely advertising.

But we didn't complain simply because that's their source of income. Ms.Jackie said that her business is what is feeding her family.

But hopefully after all these complaints, JRS would finally realize and accept their many mistakes, and try to correct and improve their business. Because honestly, I could not bear knowing that another hardworking family experienced the same misfortune as we did.

i wish i could have read this before we ordered a sofa from them. same horrible experience from them. Late delivery, full of promises and the product looked so CHEAP!!!! not worth the money we paid. We immediately told them to remove the item out of our house.Just this week she said they've had 4 returns. Good thing our money was given back and hopefully no more problem.

JRS = bad for your heart.

WATCH OUT FOR MY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ON JRS CONTRACTORS. UNTIL NOW THEY ARE STILL LIARS AND UNPROFESSIONAL! What can we do to stop this company from operating? They have tons of reasons before the delivery or delivery date itself. I will let a friend from DTI investigate this company. JACKIE SALAS YOU BETTER BE READY. COMPOSE YOUR LIES NOW LIKE WHAT YOU DO DO TO YUOR CLIENTS.

cheers to the blogger! big help mate!

I don't think it is the delivery guys. Looking back, the pictures from their website look like as if it was taken out from a catalogue. And if ever delivery people ang may problema, e di dapat she should have changed delivery services way before pa!

Haha! I was just talking to one of their people thru YM inquiring about their sofa sets.
Medyo malabo kausap so ngayon palang, I dont want to deal with them nalang. PLUS! They dont even have ACTUAL photos of their products! Like, duh? I know those photos are from the Internet. Pegs kumbaga.
Then i googled the company and landed here, #1 result. Hahahaha!
Sobrang layo ng itsura ng kama niyo ha. Too bad. Thanks for sharing! Definitely avoiding them.

Darn! Its just now that I read what kind of services JRS really give their customers. JRS also gave us a pain in the ass problem. We contracted them for most of our home furnitures. The project should have completed last dec 2010 (before xmas) but until now they still haven't. We already gave them 80% of the total project fee. WTF?!?!

And it's true na kung hindi mo sila kokontakin eh hindi ka nila ia-update sa status ng project. I really thought na kami lang ang naka-encounter ng ganitong klaseng hassle from JRS. But in fairness to some of Jackie's workers, magaling gumawa yung carpenter nya. I'll update you guys sa mis-adventures namin with JRS...

Too bad, I already ordered from them before reading this blog. It's really a nightmare doing business with them. I'm filing a complaint against them sa DTI. I will file a complaint against them and I will claim damages from them.

Hello mga sis! Please help me po coz I'm having a huge problem with this company. I ordered one queen size bed frame and one double bunk bed. They promised to deliver it at a certain date pero hindi natupad yun. They didnt even inform me na madedelay un order ko. The bed frames that they delivered were way way too different from the one that I ordered.

Anonymous said...

continuation..

Anonymous said...

GUYS!

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Instead of high-class furniture, made of cheap materials and low-quality items ang biglang iddeliver para yung sobrang bayad, kanya na.

R said...

I wonder why. Just let me know kung gusto niyo ireklamo. We can all do it. kelangan matuto ng leksyon yan. Same complaint over and over. Worst of it kung pano ka nahirapan sa delivery mas mahirap pa kumuha ng refund kay Jackie Salas

Calling all victims of Jackie Salas. There is an existing complaint filed against her and her company, JRS Construction at DTI. We are asked to make a formal letter addressed to DTI-NCR (with all our signature) or personally go to their ofc at Salcedo to lodge it ourselves. Better daw kung as group tayo kasi mas mabilis yung proceedings. We can also claim damages from her so she'll learn her lesson. Let's stop Jackie Salas from scamming future customers! We don't want them to suffer the way we did. An FB account has been made. Just add jrscomplaints@yahoo.com and share your negative experience about this company. This will make our case even stronger especially when DTI sees it. Thank You.

I'm so sad that I didn't see this blog last year. I already ordered and paid for the worst quality beds. They came late, were completely different from the photos, the carpenters were very confused, and they used the wrong material.
There are screws protruding from every part, and my kids have to carefully roll out of bed each morning to avoid them.
Has anyone noticed that all the positive comments here on this post sound like Jackie herself? :(

Anonymous said...

I lost a total of 28000 pesos. That's not cheap.

Anonymous said...

Jackie, why don't you post actual photos of the beds you make instead of downloaded ones from the net? That's why everyone is upset. We want good service, and are happy to find a website like yours that promises it. But we don't get what you promise. Just show the actual beds along side the original, so customers know what they re paying for. That way the choice is clear, and is ours to make. Your clients will be the only ones to blame for the choice, not you.
Be transparent so you won't be accused of cheating your customers.
This is a lot of negative feedback. You can still turn things around for your future clients by listening to your past ones.
Good luck.

Hi All,

I'm the one who posted about I already paid 80% of the project cost but the project won't continue anymore because sabi ni Jackie eh wala na daw syang pera para ituloy pa yung project. We also had filed a complaint sa DTI and its true that if we will complain as a group, mas mabilis ang processing ng DTI sa complaints natin. Sa poster na may friend sya sa DTI, maybe you can initiate and help us meet and plan how to once and for all put Jackie where she belongs. Thanks.

I have a cousin who really do great furnitures. Yung shop nila is nasa Batangas. Lahat ng machines nila came from the US and they use very good quality woods (from Japan I think). You will really be impressed sa finishing touches nila. But it's duco finish using automotive lacquer.

same sad story for me. I'm stuck with a Php26k L-type sofa that is not the same as the one I ordered based on pics they had on their website. I actually exhausted the internet for bad reviews about JRS but I didn't see one back in Feb 2011, that's why I went ahead with the order. I encountered delivery problems too. I'd like to join the group in filing a formal complaint, not because I'm expecting a refund (coz I know that'll never happen) but because it is the right thing to do. My email is nerimanna@yahoo.com. By the way I'm only 26 yrs old coming from an average income household and Php26,000 means a lot for me already. That was real hard earned money. What a loss :(

too bad, i read this blog just now.

Ok here's our story. I am currently a 3d Visual Designer of a newly established design company. This was happened last week,
It was a normal day in the office when our marketing department called JRS contractors (Ms Jackie) and offered our services. JRS respond to our offer and they want us to do a 3d Presentation of an Interior of a Condominium unit (Living, Bedroom, Kitchen)and they want the presentations to be done after 4 days. We've sent our quotation to them and finally after some negotiations, they've closed the deal with us. After closing the deal, we have prepared a contract to be signed by them, since they told us that they need those 3d presentations after 4 days, we were pressured and we started the project right away. The day before the deadline we called Ms. Jackie Salas and talked about the project, they still haven't signed the contract but the 3d presentation and requirements were already done, the day of the deadline came but still, no signing was done.
A few days later, we called again Ms jackie, and she's demanding us to send the presentation, without signing the contract and without atleast 50% down payment. We've learned from our mistakes before so we didn't agree on what Ms.Jackie wants us to do.
After reading this blog, I feel that those presentations will gonna be forfeited.
Good thing there's a blog like this, they even plan to have partnership with us.

LESSON LEARNED - GOOGLE FIRST!!!!

Thank you for posting this feedbacks, it helps alot.. SALAMAT PO!! GOD BLESS YOU and also you ms JACKIE.

I agree to all he complaints.. i ordered last nov 6,2010 and agreed date of delivery was Nov 26. it just so happened that I was pregnant and on bed rest that time and had no time to follow up. So it was my husband and followed up and accepted the bed that was delivered late december or early january since I gave birth. They delivered it late at night too..same experience..they are not following agreed time on delivery and una tumawag pa na nadeliver raw kasi yung amin sa iba. What i see here is that they do not monitor the quality of the product vs what was ordered to them. We ordered bed with grains "haspi" desing and was delivered flat surface finish. and the double bed -- finishing not acceptable and imagine yung mga pinagpakuan may crack na...sabi ng nagdeliver ok lang raw yan..anu pa magagawa ko. AND they said it was from bulacan..eh dun lang pala sa e.rodriguez na sash galing, as in sabi pa ng nagdeliver "sana po sa akin nalang kayo nag order diretso" if i remember it right she earned P3k for the king size bed, plus the income she got pa from the double deck bed. Good thing I was able to walk and recovered from CS section delivery and saw the dining set which had a horrible finishig. CAn you imagine, the supplier told us na dahil sa wood raw kaya magaspang finishing..what a lame excuse!!! and was not same sa specs na inorder ko with the chair so I did not totally accepted the item..if I could have read this di sana ako nakaorder dun!!! and should not have paid the balance of the beds I got na di ganun ka ok finishig pero pwede na pagtyagaan.
They even used name of Jesus on their company name ..she said its "Jesus Real Savior" if I remember it right.

The Mountain Goat of Hanover was our first case study, but it seemed like any interaction we had with a small business led to a conversation about how it advertised. A photographer in Virginia, a San Francisco dentist and a contractor re-doing my kitchen all told the same story: Online advertising should be simpler.

What all of these business owners needed was advertising that was measurable, affordable and quick. While they could use AdWords, they needed something even faster: a tool that they could set up easily and then walk away from, trusting that their advertising would be managed efficiently.

A handful of us started building a new tool for advertisers that met these requirements and within a few weeks, we were beta testing it with the owner of The Mountain Goat, the photographer, the dentist and the contractor—inviting more small businesses as interest grew. We literally went door to door in San Francisco and Chicago, asking local businesses if our tool could help them advertise better. Soon, we had more than 50 businesses testing the new ads product and within a few months, that number was over 2,000.

Our team runs somewhat like the small businesses with which we work. We’re a small, close-knit group of friends that spend most of our time huddled in a room making decisions on the spot and moving fast to launch a product in a matter of months. By the end of 2010, we’d launched our tool, which we called Google Boost at the time, in 25 cities across five states. And just last week, we officially launched AdWords Express to all businesses in the U.S. We would never have been able to do that outside of Google, where we were able to leverage the existing AdWords system, infrastructure and dedicated teams. By making it easier for people to implement effective advertising campaigns, we’ve been able to bring tens of thousands of small businesses online—and we’ve only just begun.

The System 351: The Cupcake Sandwich

This is my gift to the world. A way of fully indulging in the joys of the cupcake without any of the drawbacks. A way that balances every bite with frosting, cake, and the joy of knowing you have truly proven yourself to be an enlightened and practical individual. I know what you’re thinking, there must be some drawbacks! Here are some common questions about THE CUPCAKE SANDWICH:

Won’t the frosting get everywhere?
While some frosting does leak out the sides at times, this is a perfect opportunity to have a bit of frosting by itself without having to have globs of it all at once. Don’t consider this a drawback, but an opportunity.

How is this any shorter than it was before? Won’t getting it in your mouth still be a problem? And your math sucks, cupcakes are not 2x the height of my mouth.
First of all, you are probably the same detractors that found flaws in the Full Gadget Ratio. Nertz to you. Second, no this will not be a problem. The cakey bottom, once placed on top, creates a “safe zone” for your hands with which you can compress the size of the cupcake at will, without getting your hands covered in frosting. As for the height of the cupcake vs mouth, it may not be perfect but sometimes the best things in life aren’t.

How have I never thought of this before?
This is why I’m an internet humorist and you’re a reader. We all have our roles to play.

I felt so bad on what's happening on this company with all the complaints and bad services...I am a business owner as well(customized beds), when I read JRS blog on how they started the biz..I was so amazed and inspired by them...they were just like my idol until the time I read all of these issues against them...It's really a tough job to meet and exceed customer's expectations. This is also a good learnings on my end and hoping that this wont happen to my business as well.

1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
(English Standard Version)
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. (ESV)

Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. (ESV)

Romans 8:24-25
For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. (ESV)

Romans 8:28
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (NLT)

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. (ESV)

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. (ESV)

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (NIV)

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (NKJV)

Ephesians 3:20-21
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. (NLT)

Philippians 3:13-14
No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven. (NLT)

1 Thessalonians 5:8
But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. (ESV)

2 Thessalonians 2:16–17
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. (NLT)

... so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain ... (ESV)

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (ESV)

God commands us to love.

Here are some key Scriptures (Bible verses) on loving your enemies:

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another (John 13:34).

But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you (Luke 6:27-28).

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse (Romans 12:14).

We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it (1 Corinthians 4:12).

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:17-21).

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9).

Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble (1 John 2:9-10).

Our highest calling is to spread the Gospel and help others grow in Christ.

We should be passionately concerned about introducing people to Jesus. Along the same lines, we should be passionately concerned about other believers' spiritual welfare.

Study "dissensions" in Galatians 5:19-21 and Romans 13:13.

By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another (John 13:35).

But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice (Philippians 1:18).

Jesus loved his enemies. Make him your example.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! (Luke 13:34).

But I say unto you which hear,.... The Ethiopic version adds "me", and the generality of interpreters understand the passage of the hearers of Christ, as distinct from the disciples, or together with them, and of the better sort of them; and of such as had ears to hear, and who heard with a desire of understanding, and of putting into practice what they heard; but I rather think it regards the hearers of the Scribes and Pharisees, then present, who had heard and received the traditions of the elders, to which the following rules of Christ are opposed; and to each of which, with others in Matthew, these words are prefixed;

ye have heard that it was said by them of old time--but I say unto you,.... Matthew 5:21 with which compare this phrase, and the sense will appear to be this; to you that hear day by day, the traditions of the elders urged upon you, and the false glosses the Scribes and Pharisees put upon the word of God; in opposition to them, I say to you what follows:

love your enemies; whereas you have heard them say, hate your enemies, keep enmity in your hearts to them, and revenge yourselves on them:

do good to them that hate you; whereas you have heard it said, that you should only do good to your friends, and should keep anger in your bosoms to such who hate you, and do you an injury; See Gill on Matthew 5:43, Matthew 5:44

Vincent's Word Studies
Which hear

With the sense of hearing in order to heed: giving heed. Compare Matthew 11:15.

Geneva Study Bible
{5} But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

(5) Christian charity, which is very different from worldly charity, not only does not revenge injuries, but is even extended to our most grievous enemies, and that for our Father's sake who is in heaven: in well doing it is not at all seeking its own.

People's New Testament
6:27-36 Love your enemies. These precepts are found in Matthew's report in their connection. See PNT Mt 5:44.

Wesley's Notes
6:27 But I say to you that hear - Hitherto our Lord had spoken only to particular sorts of persons: now he begins speaking to all in general. Mt 5:44.

Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary
27-36. (See on [1585]Mt 5:44-48; [1586]Mt 7:12; and [1587]Mt 14:12-14.)

Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary
6:27-36 These are hard lessons to flesh and blood. But if we are thoroughly grounded in the faith of Christ's love, this will make his commands easy to us. Every one that comes to him for washing in his blood, and knows the greatness of the mercy and the love there is in him, can say, in truth and sincerity, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? Let us then aim to be merciful, even according to the mercy of our heavenly Father to us.

22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified. (KJV)
